Overberg Asset Management (Pty) Ltd was established in 2001 and licensed in May 2002 by the Financial Services Conduct Authority (previously Financial Services Board) of South Africa as a Category 2 FSP, with license no. 783.
Overberg has more recently increased its license categories to include a range of Category 1 advisory services.

Nick Downing, the founder, director and main shareholder of Overberg has been involved in international investment banking and asset management since 1986 with a well-established track record in managing institutional, retail and private client funds. The company has offices situated in Pretoria, Cape Town, Winelands, Hermanus and Greyton.

Your portfolio will be held in safe custody with Investec Securities, Standard Bank Group Securities, Nedbank Private Wealth or PSG Stockbrokers in South Africa, and Charles Stanley Stockbrokers, Credo Wealth or Platform Securities LLP in the United Kingdom. Secure internet access will enable you to view daily-updated valuations of your portfolio, as well as the entire history of your transactions. Assets held through trust or corporate structures may utilise alternative custodians, in certain circumstances.

24/7 A full tax summary
Prepared in line with the SA Tax Year will be provided in respect of your local and global portfolio. This can be included in your annual tax return.
