Welcome! Love in a Bowl is a magical collaborative initiative that grows organic veggies in community farms throughout Hout Bay. We ensure brilliant veggies for local consumers and the compassionate distribution of food to the most vulnerable of our little town. We’ve all come together around our common bond with food. Growing and sharing these vegetables together is truly changing our lives, changing our village, changing our world.
Who We Are
We are the Community of Hout Bay. We are individuals, NGOs, restaurants, yard services, Educares, Mamas, children, parents, growers, health workers, landowners, faith centres, brokers, fishers, hikers, business owners. What holds us in common is our shared commitment to ensure the provision of healthy, locally grown food to the most vulnerable children and elderly of our Community.
