Knysna Professional Architect, André Vercueil, in the Garden Route
André Vercueil matriculated in 1973 at High School Goudrif, Germiston.
He obtained the degree in Bachelor of Building Arts (B Build) in 1978, at the University of Port Elizabeth, (now Nelson Mandela Metropol), and Bachelor of Architecture in 1983 (B Arch) at the University of Pretoria.
André completed and qualified as an officer during his national service in 1979, in Pretoria, working in the Architect’s offices at the Carl Cling Building, Pretoria, under Brig. Morrison and Crnl. Cope.
He completed several courses in CAD computers and compulsory further education programmes through the ISAA, and SACAP.
He successfully registered as an Accredited Specialist Heritage Practitioner, through the Western Cape Association of Heritage Assessment Practitioners, in 2009.
